POSEIDON at CEES 2025: Urban Resilience and Inclusive Governance in Focus
From June 11 to 13, the city of Bari hosted the International Conference on Construction, Energy, Environment and Sustainability – CEES 2025. With over 300 participants from across Europe, the event explored cutting-edge approaches to sustainable construction, energy transition, and climate resilience.

Urban Contributions from POSEIDON
Two project partners presented key insights from POSEIDON’s ongoing work.
Martina Dell’Unto (UPM) introduced the governance approach used to engage stakeholders in Positive Energy Districts.
Bahanur Nasya (Wonderland) reflected on how recent flooding in Cesena has inspired new perspectives on urban planning and local collaboration.
Presentations at international conferences like CEES 2025 are an integral part of POSEIDON’s dissemination strategy, ensuring that the project’s outcomes reach a broad audience of researchers, practitioners, and decision-makers.

The presentations offered a glimpse into how POSEIDON supports cities in developing inclusive, adaptive, and sustainable strategies. By sharing practical examples and local experiences, the project continues to contribute to Europe’s transition toward more resilient urban environments.
Full papers will be shared once they become available through open access.
